HR Technology

Today's Challenges

The benefits business, like other business sectors, has attracted hundreds of vendors with web-based systems looking to streamline benefits administration and eliminate paper processing.  These vendors target different markets, have various features and functionality, and wide ranging prices.  Some vendors are financially viable while others are struggling to survive.  The market is complex and evolving.

Your Technology Resource

Through a strategic partnership, we have added Benefits and HR Technology Advisory Services to our practice.  We help employers navigate through the maze of vendors with the objective of finding the right solution to simplify the administration of HR and Benefits processes.  Our proven methodologies and evaluation approach will eliminate risk and ensure success.  BenefitsLab clients save time and money while increasing employee awareness with their benefits.

The Benefits and HR Technology Market

Though our responsibility in the past has been benefits focused, the trend in technology has been to integrate HR, benefits, and payroll so that employee data only needs to be entered once.  This tendency towards integrated technology requires any advisor to have an understanding of all an employer's HR, benefits, and payroll needs.  Addressing only one vendor at the exclusion of the others may produce poor results and ultimately more work for your HR department.

Our Process

Our process is different from others.  Many firms will partner with a single vendor and try to get you to use that one system.  That approach assumes all clients want the same solution.  Before making any decisions, we believe that developing both a short-term and long-term strategy is critical to success.  Through an interview process addressing over 150 potential variables, we identify needs before making any recommendations.  Once a solution is chosen, we will manage implementation and ensure user adoption.

The Bottom Line

You expect your health insurance broker to "shop the market" for you and provide you with accurate comparisons between vendors (insurers) so you may reach a truly informed decision.  Why should the HR Technology process be any different?
